Project Volans
One system, split into sixteen sub-projects that each stand on their own: the aircraft, the Base, the software and the tests that prove they work.
Faust v0, arm drawing
Volans: an autonomous drone-in-a-box
Tell it a mission in plain words. Faust, the drone, takes off from its Base, flies the mission, comes back, lands and charges. Nobody touches it. I'm building it with a PoliMi colleague, from the frame CAD and the charging station to the flight software, the failsafe tests and the performance model.

University project
A course project I later went back to, re-checked and corrected.
Cast housing, PTC Creo
Three-stage right-angle gear reducer
A 75 kW industrial reducer designed in a team of two for Laboratorio CAD at Politecnico di Milano: one bevel pair and two spur pairs, sized in MATLAB and modelled as a full assembly in Creo. In 2026 I re-checked the whole calculation, found errors in the force model and proposed the fixes.
